These sessions and groups provide consistent and efficient ways for teams (for discussion topics not related to RUG governance / support) to meet and discuss best practices and information about their roles and the applications that they use / support. See below for details of the program, links to session documents and notes and check out the WIEUG calendar and registration form to participate in these important initiatives!
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
The historic bread and butter of Epic User Groups, networking and information sharing for the purpose of improving the internal Epic system remains an important component of members sessions. There are multiple other nuanced ways we can improve internal build that optimizes the information that is ultimately shared across Epic instances or improves patient care. This also includes sessions in which Epic organizations provide feedback for specific development.

WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR THE PROGRAM?
Each group meets at least once a year (most are scheduled 2-4 times per year) and the goals of the team is defined at the group level.
These sessions do not develop regional deliverables, but are considered an important way to improve peer connections and information sharing across Epic applications and roles.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO JOIN?
All of the sessions in this program are open to anyone, and we encourage you to review the session details to determine which sessions would be beneficial or interesting for you to join.
